💷Robbing , Scamming , Kidnapping
Robbing Definition: Taking property from another person by using force, violence, intimidation, or the threat of force, with the intent to deprive the victim of that property.
Robbing Rules
No Killing After Robbery: You may not kill someone after robbing them. The purpose of robbery is theft, not murder.
No Robbing During Shootouts: You may not rob someone in the middle of a shootout or active gunfight.
Protected Roles: You may not rob EMS, lawyers, judges, or any police personnel at any time.
No Chain Robbing: Chain robberies are not permitted and you cannot rob players endlessly. You must wait 45 minutes before robbing another person. You cannot kill a player after you have already robbed them unless they are disobeying your orders or aren’t being compliant. (You rob someone then 5 minutes later you see someone with a gun and partake in a robbing spree.)
Business Employees: You may not rob on-duty employees at businesses. Employees must be wearing business attire to be protected; if someone is wearing gang attire while clocked in, they can be robbed.
Robbery Ratio: All robbing encounters must be a 3-to-1 ratio (robbers to victim). You cannot rob someone if you do not have at least three robbers present.
No Forced Withdrawals: You cannot make someone pull money from their bank account or use in-game banking features during a robbery.
Robbing PD: PD is only robbable of illegal contraband! DO NOT TAKE: Med Kits, Ammo, PD items/weapons, or donuts. You cannot steal PD vehicles either. Robbable items: Contraband taken off you, illegal guns, gun store guns, drugs, blueprints, dirty and clean cash, bank items (drills, drill bits, thermite) and raw materials. PD are not loot bags, they are the main RP of the city and this rule is in place to keep them in city and able to do their job. With more PD comes better roleplay and more chances to hit banks!
Robbing EMS: YOU CANNOT ROB EMS OR STEAL THEIR CARS. Also, CANNOT kill them.
Examples of Robbing
Pulling up with three people after a bank robbery to rob someone of their belongings.
Forcing someone to hand over their items or cash by threatening them with weapons.
Scamming
Scamming Definition: Scamming is the act of deceiving someone in order to gain money or an advantage.
Scamming Rules
Scam Limit: You are not allowed to scam players for more than $50,000 in in-game cash per incident.
No Item Scams Above Limit: If you scam someone for an item or service, the value cannot exceed $50,000.
No OOC Scams: All scams must be in-character and roleplayed. Out-of-character (OOC) scamming is strictly prohibited.
Loot Boxing: Robbing cops or individuals without valid reasons, solely for personal gain, is not permitted. This includes pocketing wiping someone without justification.
Examples of Scamming
Selling a black market item or weapon for $50,000 and not giving the item to the buyer.
Promising a service or product and intentionally failing to deliver after receiving payment.
Kidnapping
Kidnapping is a high-risk roleplay scenario and must be treated seriously, realistically, and with proper roleplay buildup. All kidnapping scenarios must involve clear intent, meaningful interaction, and fair opportunities for all parties involved.
Kidnapping should never be rushed, forced, or used as a shortcut to achieve an outcome. If you kidnap someone for a hostage situation you may only hold them hostage for 15 minutes.
You cannot kidnap on Duty EMS, PD, or workers who are clocked in. (If you have a hostage and by the time you get to the place you wanted to rob someone is already robbing it you must let the hostage go after 15 minutes.)
You cannot use a fake hostage. All hostages must be acquired through roleplay and the hostage cannot be in on it. (Cannot be your friend, gang/group member, or someone that agreed to being a hostage for a percentage of the pay.)
