🤡Low Effort RP

Low Effort Roleplay is defined as skipping meaningful roleplay, improvisation, or character development in order to quickly reach an outcome. Roleplay is about storytelling, interaction, and immersion—not rushing scenes or forcing results.

All roleplay scenarios must be given adequate time to develop, and all involved players should clearly understand the in-character reasoning behind actions and events.

What Constitutes Low Effort RP

  • Rushing or skipping dialogue to immediately escalate a situation

  • Ignoring logical buildup, context, or character motivation

  • Forcing outcomes without allowing other players to respond or contribute

  • Performing actions without explaining intent or reasoning through RP

  • Treating RP scenarios as tasks to complete rather than scenes to develop

Examples of Low Effort RP

  • Immediately pulling a weapon or initiating violence with no verbal RP or buildup

  • Kidnapping, robbing, or killing a character without interaction or justification

  • Speed-running negotiations, interrogations, or medical RP

  • Using one-line or repetitive responses to avoid meaningful interaction

  • Ignoring reactions, injuries, or consequences to push a scene forward

Additional Guidelines

  • Develop the Scene: Allow interactions to flow naturally and give others time to respond.

  • Stay Immersed: Your character’s actions should align with their background, emotions, and situation.

  • Communicate Clearly: Ensure other players understand why your character is acting the way they are through RP.

  • Quality Over Speed: Outcomes should be earned through roleplay, not rushed.
